Do you think Nashville would accept Alex Edler (+) in a trade for Shea Weber?

I think it's safe to say that every game is a must-win game with how tight the Western Conference is right now.

Also, who would of predicted that the Central Division would be the best division in the NHL at this point in the season? I think the biggest surprise would be the St.Louis Blues. Too bad Columbus isn't good enough to join the party.

Get a win today boys! GO PREDS!

Some people predicted that the Blues would be the top team in the conference, so it's apparently not that big a surprise. Personally, I look at their roster and I don't really see anything special. The only guy even on the All-Star roster is Elliot. Hitchcock is doing an incredible job over there.

Love watching TJ Oshie...would love to see him in Predator Gold next year. Most underrated forward out there...a Jordin Tootoo with Colin Wilson's hands.
Make it so, Poile.

- The Nashville power play continues to hum along, posting six markers in their last four games. The team has the second ranked power play in the league.

being a Pred fan since Day 111, it's extremely hard to fathom this to be true. extremely.

a very small piece, classic undervalue of the third leading defenseman in scoring who's 6'3" 225 lbs. He skates really well and hits but is inconsistent, being only 25 years old he's got a lot of up side. Weber is a better option for a Cup run.

OK, How about Kesler and Elder for Weber.

The Nucks couldn't afford Weber's 7.5 million cap hit. They'd have to do some sort of cap dump. Many of their contracts are good ones, relatively economical in this market.

Edler at 3.5 million is a very good contract that the Nucks won't move as they have another year on it. The last thing Nashville needs is more cap space as we sit with the youngest or 2nd youngest team in the league depending on who is on IR and the low, low salaries all those kids have on their entry level contracts.

Honestly, I agree with Poile. We just need another year with this roster, one gritty 6'2"+ defenseman a la SO'Brian, and a sniper for the 3rd line in the vein of Honey Badger, C. Smith. Oh, and for smith to develop into Kesler and Ellis to be the second coming of Timmonen incarnated in the year we had a healthy Karya.

i dont see the blues as a surprise. in fact, i predicted them ahead of us before the season started.they have alot of talent, but were decimated by injuries last year. on the bad predictionside i thought columbus would be right on our butts.

I wish he would have gotten the day off. Trotz is going to wear him out before the playoffs.

I was really expecting Lindback to get the nod today since they were playing an AHL team today....and I'm pretty sure Lindback is not going to start in MSG
Pekka is going to get 5 days off since he didn't get invited to the all star game..... but Price deserves to go because he plays for the Canadians.
